Hello Good People! So I finally have the time to write about the World Natural Hair Show! My friend and I had such a great time. We bought a few goodies, took a few pictures, and had a good time! We even ran into one of our favorite bloggers! Although I did not spend a lot of money (thankfully), I did pick up a couple of items that I love and of course got some new ones too! I have products from Shea Radiance, Obia Natural Hair Care, Reciprocitee, Shea Moisture, and many samples! All of the items are hair products, with the exception of the Shea Moisture. This products was a body butter that I am in love with!!! I purchased it after deciding that the Jane Carter Nourish and Shine Butter was just out of my budget (about $21 a jar, but it is pure goodness). They only…

Hello there friends! I know its been a minute since I’ve posted but I have something great for you today! This past Sunday, I had the opportunity to attend an event called Bridesmaids and Bubbly. This was a cool bridal event where the brides and maids could meet with vendors, collect ideas, have great food and custom drinks (hence the bubbly), and get a little pampering! My best friend Tiffany is getting married in October, so the bridal attendant Astrid thought it would be a great idea for the two of us to go! Needless to say, we has such a great time! Sponsored by EllyB Events, we drove down to The B Loft at Miami Circle in Atlanta. We check in with our tickets and obtained our pink goodie-filled VIP swag bags!!! So much great stuff inside, but we’ll get to that in a sec! While inside we had…

Most of you probably don’t kno, but I have struggled with weight for a very long time. Every year I try to tackle it, and every year I don’t quite fail, but I don’t really succeed either. We this year is gonna be different. I recently purchase a Groupon for medical weight loss through Medical Weigh Loss Solutions. This was and is my last time trying to do this. And I only say that because every time I build up my hopes, they seem to get diminished and I lose more and more self-confidence. I’m tired of feeling like I don’t look pretty or I don’t have the perfect body shape. This is the most debilitating feeling and frame of mind ever! So I decided to give it one last shot with this Groupon and boy was I in for a shock! I just completed my first week with them on 1/30/13 and…

Hey Everybody!! Its Black History Month! As some of you may remember, last year I did Black Fact February to celebrate our rich history! This year I get to do something very different! I was asked to participate in the “#FreeToBeMe”Giveaway sponsored by African Pride. I am currently a BIG fan of their Shea Miracle Bouncy Curl Pudding that I received in my October curlBOX!! If you check out my blog from the CurlBOX shoot, this was the product that I brought for the stylist to use on my hair! It is THEEE biz! Here is a little info about African Pride. African Pride Hair Care continues the conversation surrounding the brand’s nationally charged “My Pride. My Way” campaign just in time for Black History Month. “My Pride. My Way” is a national campaign celebrating the individual style, innovation, and beauty of all women because “When it Comes to Hair,…

Marriage is such a beautiful thing. My husband and I celebrated 3 years on September 13! And of course, every anniversary is a great excuse to get away! I love planning getaways for great prices for my little family. This year’s trip took us to Lookout Mountain, TN/GA (because its on the border and you have to leave Georgia, go into Tennessee, then back into GA again…) near Chattanooga, TN. For 3 nights, we had the pleasure of staying at the Garden Walk Bed & Breakfast Inn which is on top of Lookout Mountain. It was such a beautiful sight! Driving or down up the mountain was pretty much breathtaking, 1) for the beauty 2) because its was a wee bit scary being so high up and I was pretty sure my husband was intentionally trying to give me a heart attack with his driving! Take a look! AMAZING RIGHT!!!…

So in my world wind of activities, I totally forgot to do a post about the P3 Lab event hosted by Mimi J., which was spectacular might I say! It was a tea party! I don’t think I’ve ever been to a tea party before – except for the ones with my stuffed animals….and I’m pretty sure that doesn’t count….  Anywho, on August 19, I dragged my bestie Tiffany to the P3 Beauty Tea at Studio Wed, to support another friend, Maeling aka Natural Chica!  She, Mimi J (Make-up Artist, P3 Lab), Alexandra Butler (Make-up Artist), and Mattie James of Mattieology (Fashion Blogger) co-host this lovely meet and greet/networking party for other local bloggers of similar trade!  We actually got to meet and talk with these lovely ladies.  There were finger foods, delicious mini cupcakes and candies, and the best part of all GREAT TEA, sponsored by Soren Tea!!  Most…
