So the summer is upon us…pretty much…and my hair is already starting to take a beating. I know that some of you all are having or are about to have the same issue. Dry ends or dry hair in general, breakage, seeming lack of growth….these are signs that something needs to change!! So I am proposing a hair boot camp. A concentrated, focused amount of time and energy to get the results that you want. But…summer weather is not the only culprit in this battle of health, oh no…YOU ARE! Many say that you are what you eat, and what you put in, you get out. My question to you is what are you putting into your body??? Are you drinking enough water? Are you eating fruits and veggies? Are you taking multivitamins? Are you taking care of yourself? Realize that you can’t focus on the hair alone, the body…

After almost 1 1/2 years, I actually went to a salon and got my hair done! I hate going to salons because I hate waiting for ever to get my hair done… Anywho, thanks to Natural Chica’s last video of her Too Groovy Salon experience, I decided to check them out. Now for me to have gone to do this, I had to be at the salon at 9AM in rush our traffic WITH the added benefit of rain (what a joy…). I was up at 7 AM to leave at 8AM to get there.
