So the summer is upon us…pretty much…and my hair is already starting to take a beating. I know that some of you all are having or are about to have the same issue. Dry ends or dry hair in general, breakage, seeming lack of growth….these are signs that something needs to change!! So I am proposing a hair boot camp. A concentrated, focused amount of time and energy to get the results that you want. But…summer weather is not the only culprit in this battle of health, oh no…YOU ARE!

Many say that you are what you eat, and what you put in, you get out. My question to you is what are you putting into your body??? Are you drinking enough water? Are you eating fruits and veggies? Are you taking multivitamins? Are you taking care of yourself? Realize that you can’t focus on the hair alone, the body plays a very important part in the heath of your hair. Healthy body, Healthy hair.

Over the next 8 weeks, I am challenging you to change and break some old habits and build some new ones! There will be a giveaway at the end for one lucky winner…But I can’t tell you what it is just yet!


The challenge will begin June 3 – July 31 and the rules are very simple:

1. Protect your hair – using hats, twists, having your ends tucked/hidden away, satin scarfs…

2. Increase your water intake – 8 8oz glasses please!

3. Healthy Eating – eat those fruits and veggies!

4. Exercise – I’m aiming for 3 times a week for 1 hour. How about you?

I will be doing a video check-in each week to keep you updated on my progress and to show I am true to this challenge. There will also be posts each week giving you a new health challenge and some hairstyle or product suggestions to get you through the summer heat!
