Naturally Pretty Event & Giveaway (closed)

So as some of you know, I had the opportunity to help with and attend Naturally Pretty! This event was hosted by Mae of Natural Chica and MUA Mimi J. These ladies did a great job hosting this event! There was great music from The Chase, Greg Banks, and Farah Lissa. There were several vendors including some of my personal favorites – Too Groovy, Kava Essence and Natural Resources Salon, just to name a few. I actually didn’t get to take many picture because I sang background with The Chase (Awesomeness!!!) and I was helping out behind the scenes! There was a make-up demonstration by none other than Alexandra Butler, hair demonstrations by April B. (She has styled Mae’s hair), and hair talk with the lovely ladies of Tress Talk ATL. Mountain Top Bed & Breakfast

Marriage is such a beautiful thing. My husband and I celebrated 3 years on September 13! And of course, every anniversary is a great excuse to get away! I love planning getaways for great prices for my little family. This year’s trip took us to Lookout Mountain, TN/GA (because its on the border and you have to leave Georgia, go into Tennessee, then back into GA again…) near Chattanooga, TN. For 3 nights, we had the pleasure of staying at the Garden Walk Bed & Breakfast Inn which is on top of Lookout Mountain. It was such a beautiful sight! Driving or down up the mountain was pretty much breathtaking, 1) for the beauty 2) because its was a wee bit scary being so high up and I was pretty sure my husband was intentionally trying to give me a heart attack with his driving! P3 Beauty Tea

So in my world wind of activities, I totally forgot to do a post about the P3 Lab event hosted by Mimi J., which was spectacular might I say! It was a tea party! I don’t think I’ve ever been to a tea party before – except for the ones with my stuffed animals….and I’m pretty sure that doesn’t count….  Anywho, on August 19, I dragged my bestie Tiffany to the P3 Beauty Tea at Studio Wed, to support another friend, Maeling aka Natural Chica!  She, Mimi J (Make-up Artist, P3 Lab), Alexandra Butler (Make-up Artist), and Mattie James of Mattieology (Fashion Blogger) co-host this lovely meet and greet/networking party for other local bloggers of similar trade!  We actually got to meet and talk with these lovely ladies.  There were finger foods, delicious mini cupcakes and candies, and the best part of all GREAT TEA, sponsored by Soren Tea!!  Most…

CurlBox + Carol’s Daughter = GREATNESS

So last Thursday, August 9, I had the opportunity to attend this wonderful event!!! ————————->> The CurlBox/Carol’s Daughter Natural Meet-Up at Lenox Mall. Let me start by saying, “AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!” That was exactly how I felt when I arrived at the event as I saw all the natural beauties wrapped around the Carol’s Daughter store. This store, by admission from one of the hosts, is the size of a master bedroom and bathroom! : ) Small, but it some how managed to fit, in rotation, at least 150 ladies! As I was thinking of what to do for my last challenge, I came across this inspirational morning message from one of my facebook friends Jesskiah!
