Today I am sore! Yesterday morning my husband and I got up to go play tennis! Now…I stink at tennis, and the only thing I have going for me is that I can serve pretty consistently (though not always in the right box). But that is not the point. The point I’m making is that I got up and did something. We were out there about an hour and we were running after our balls and swinging those rackets. We were moving!! My challenge for you this week: Go do something you like!! Hopefully most of you have been exercising throughout the past three weeks. Find some physical activity that you enjoy and do it this week! Get out of your normal routine. If you like dancing and not just doing Zumba (though it is VERY fun), GO OUT!! I’m sure there is a Spanish dance club with your name…

One of the biggest problems that I have trouble controlling mentally and physically is my eating habits. I like to eat as do most people. And though I don’t eat poorly, I don’t always eat balanced either. I don’t always get the right amount of fruits, veggies, whole grains, protein. or dairy. It’s not just about focusing on one area of food, its about balance and having the right amount of each food group. Check out Choose My Plate for more info about balanced eating.
